Permanent Make Up Eyebrows are an easy low maintenance way to enhance your natural beauty! Services can last anywhere from 6 months to a lifetime depending on your lifestyle, health, and aftercare. Before making any decisions, it’s important to do proper research because this service is considered a tattoo. If you are considering getting permanent make up eyebrows but are unsure if it is right for you, please reach out to me for any questions! Email: Browgaldd@gmail.com
Each new client appointment will begin with a consultation where we discuss your daily routines and eyebrow goals, map your face, draw out a shape, and choose a color together. We absolutely do not start until both the client and artist are satisfied and comfortable with the pre-draw. A new appointment can last anywhere between 2.5 hours to 3 hours. If you have trouble laying down flat for long periods of time, please bring the appropriate measures to ensure your comfort.
After leaving the studio it is up to each client to properly care for their new brows. The artist has no control over how each individual heals. For best results, follow your artist’s aftercare instructions which will be set home with each client. Brows will take 3-4 weeks to heal and a touch up appointment will be recommended after 6 weeks. The awkward stages of the healing process may take up to 2 weeks + so set up your appointments accordingly.
Pain is relative! While two types of numbing creams are applied, everyone will experience something different. Following your artist's prepare instructions will also help minimize any sensitivity you may experience. Notify your artist if you have allergies to lidocaine or epinephrine.
All permanent make up services are a TWO STEP PROCESS. Touch ups will always be recommended depending on each client’s brow goals. One appointment may be enough for some clients but realistically, some client’s will not be satisfied until after 3 appointments. Touch ups are also known as perfecting appointments where we can do minor adjustments or go darker/bolder. Not everyone needs a touch up but they are always recommended for longer lasting results. Most client's find that after having an initial touch up, their brows can last 1-2+ years!
Wait 2 weeks before and after covid doses for your appointment.
Make sure there are no blemishes or irritations in or around the brow area.
No alcohol and caffeine 48 hours prior to your appointment to avoid excessive bleeding and sensitivity.
Avoid retinol/vitamin products/Botox & other injection services in and around the eyebrow area for at least 2 weeks.
Gently exfoliate and moisturize the eyebrow for best results.
Avoid getting your eyebrows waxed/threaded/plucked 2 weeks before your appointment.
If you have any important events/vacations soon after your appointment, please notify your artist so that we may reschedule if necessary! Proper healing time may take up to two weeks.
You and your artist will be spending 2-3 hours together in a laying down position. Feel free to bring your own blankets or pillows. For best results and to allow adequate service time, please arrive on time and do not rush your artist.
It’s going to take about 3-4+ weeks to see how your brows truly healed. Initial touch ups can be done 6 weeks after our appointment. Remember, the best results come from your aftercare!
INSTRUCTIONS
Keep eyebrows away from water for 24 hours. Gently wash the brow area with warm water and pat or air dry until brows are done peeling. On day 4-5, brows may start to get dry and itchy. Use a clean q-tip to apply a rice-grain amount of aftercare ointment to the brow area to help alleviate the itchiness. It is best to apply the ointment as needed only. For dry skin types, applying more often throughout the day is normal. For oily, combo skin, pat your brow area clean if you feel oily.
Touching brow area except when washing/ applying aftercare ointment
Scratching, picking, or peeling the brow area, as it can cause scarring and/or color loss.
Applying any makeup, moisturizer, lotion, or sunscreen to the brow area.
Sun exposure- sun tanning- salon tanning
Laser or chemical peels, and any other form of exfoliation.
Exercise and sweating- participating in sports/ activities that induce perspiration.
Long hot steamy baths/showers-saunas-swimming
Avoid getting your eyebrows very wet in the shower
Avoid gardening and contact with animals.
When your eyebrows are done peeling, it is safe to go back to your regular routine, however, waiting until about the 2 week mark may increase the likelihood of better retention. Avoid using any cleansing products that contain exfoliants or acids ie. glycolic, lactic, or AHA near eyebrows for longer lasting results. All permanent make-up procedures are a two-step process. A 6 week touch up is always recommended. If you experience any itching, swelling, blistering or any other complications post-procedure, stop using the product and call your doctor. If you have excessive redness, swelling or tenderness or any red streaks going from the procedure site toward the heart, elevated temperature, or purulent drainage from the procedure site, contact your physician as the area may be infected and you may need to seek medical care. Contact your artist for any further questions or concerns.
If any of the following apply, you are not a candidate for permanent makeup. If you are unsure, seek advice from your medical provider. Some instances may be acceptable with a doctor’s note.

For permanent eyebrow services there should only be very minimal bleeding. Having alcohol or caffeine thins out the blood and can cause excessive bleeding making it extremely difficult for the artist to implant pigment. Excessive bleeding will increase your sensitivity and pain as well as cause undesirable and patchy results. For the best results, hold off at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
